I recently completed an exterior color consulting project for the exterior of a farm style house in Durham in NC. This beauty had been neglected for a long time and definitely needed TLC.

The biggest parameters of the project were the existing stained glass windows and unique grey brick. Also, the client wanted a navy but was afraid to go too dark. Working with Benjamin Moore paints, Elizabeth pulled together the following pallet.
- Hale Navy lightened by 25% for the body of the house.
- White Dove for the trim was just the right amount of creaminess without being too stark
- Black around the windows to break down the mass and allow the stained glass windows to stand out.
- Blue Stream for the front doors, a subtle nod to the residents’ Alma Mater, the University of North Carolina.
We love the modern southern charm of the house.
